Agenda for Board Meeting

The company came out this past week to test all of our main lines looking for leaks. Additionally, they check EVERY lateral, including common area ones. The good and the bad of their preliminary results are as follows:
  • No leaks in the main lines
  • 15-20 individual allotments have leaks, ranging from approximately .1 gallon per minute to 5 gallons per minute. When they are totalled and extrapolated, it comes up to just about $11,000 every month!
    • Each Member has been contacted, informing them of the results and asking that they start the process of locating any leaks in their system; some already fixed
    • Several Members who are Part Time have asked Steve to turn their valves to the OFF position until needed repairs can be assessed and accomplished.
    • There will be a test this week with all “leakers” shut off; the City Water Department will be asked to monitor what happens.
We continue to work on locating and documenting the Christy boxes (more properly called ‘Service boxes’). I believe we have about 75-100 to go; 12-15 volunteers have accomplished doing the first 290 or so. Hopefully the last ones will be finished this week.

The Spaghetti Feed 5/4 was a huge success with AMAZING food and lots and lots of great conversations and fun. Two ax-throwing set ups were enjoyed by many and I will warn you not to get on the bad side of……. (just ask me.) Cindy Weigelt, Bruce Brinker and the rest of her crew did an AWESOME job of cooking, serving and cleaning up. MANY THANKS! Park Clean up party – the next one will be this Friday, May 17, at 1:00. We will be power washing the bricks near the gazebo and cleaning gazebo, porches, etc. Bring buckets, maybe soap and bleach (?), cleaning brushes, rags, etc.

There have been two get-togethers of candidates with various members stopping by to meet, greet and ask questions of those running. The next one is Saturday May 18 at 4:00 by the gazebo; snacks and libations just might be available!

Saturday May 25 at 11:00. Memorial Day week-end clean up and other events may be going on, so it will be busy. The Board is hoping for a short meeting so they can get out and work!
